Lately…

I had another break 🙂 Very fruitful 😉

Behind me is Rękawka, a few private matters, and most recently the May Day weekend in Biskupin.

This is what my textile arrangement looked like:

The photo was taken by Kasia, and her company made my time more pleasant – greetings 🙂 The photo also shows bagpipes and fiddles – of course they are not mine. Kasia plays old instruments and sings in a white voice, which probably gives her energy…

During the season I will be quite often in the early Piast village. The place is inspiring, so I will definitely enjoy working there.

I also had some work at home. I got a recipe for dandelion syrup and we brewed some of this "honey". We will enjoy it and treat our friends to it during our trips.

Since sewing and I have been on a collision course for a very, very long time (sic!), I reluctantly took on the task of making a tent. Today I finally finished, practically a moment ago. It was the last thing that needed to be done. The relief is so great that the first steps have led me here – to writing a post after a break.

Janek, as usual, “helped”. The smell of the salad works on him in a similar way to lanolin… translated to normal cats – it works like valerian or catnip.

  1. In addition, there is a chance to leave fluff on the material... something that cats love:D Congratulations on finishing the tent!! I am also cruelly drawn to the early Piast village from the May Day weekend, so I hope to see you there:)

  2. See you then, because the atmosphere is really great. Janek was also in the village and he liked it – he went on a warpath with the mice. Setting him on the local rodents was my response to gnawing one of the selvedges 😉
