Since I already have a weaving belt, I started using it to weave selvedges. Without my esteemed… lower back, it looks like this: It is incredibly comfortable. And most importantly, it is easy and quick to get ready for work. When the kettle whistle starts to blow, you can free yourself in a few seconds… before the water burns 😉
I finished the green yarn, and the yarn finished me. This time I didn't touch up the colors, so that you could compare how I see these selvedges and how the camera sees them 😉 The warp is the same as in the case of the brown selvedges. So this series is a bit wider than the previous green ones. The swastikas fit in elegantly. I also went a step further in the variations...
After the change in the pay system. Employees: We don't like the fact that we now have lower pay. President: After all, the new system assumed higher pay. This is the second series of brown stripes. The number of threads and the arrangement are the same as before. The patterns are different, because I try never to repeat myself. It's a waste of time, and there are so many ideas. Weaving from coarse yarn is laborious and a bit off-putting. The effect is quite interesting, so that's the only reason I didn't throw the wool in the farthest corner, so...
