As I wrote, that's what I did. The red (i.e. cherry) selvedge with a gold (i.e. yellow) pattern is ready. It's supposedly made of a more plastic yarn (75% wool from acrylic sheep), but it turned out to be more atmospheric - it's a bit rough to the touch... or maybe fuzzy. The material crisis has passed with the arrival of a full bundle of yarn. The colors will now be quite natural, and the selvedges will be difficult, because the wool is hard and rough. If so, I will make it more difficult and make the selvedges very patterned. When you have leftover materials at your disposal, you can create such "miracles": The selvedge is made of cotton cord. It is 3 cm wide and 2.3 m long. I finished it with fringes on both sides. It is pleasant to the touch and quite stiff. I will boldly put it this way: it is showy 😉
