I'm speechless ;)

Hello after a long break. I have neglected my blog a lot because I am speechless. Doubly so… First of all, I am speechless because I have had many “interesting” things happening. And I am speechless in many meters of ribbons and selvages, but fortunately I love it.

There was no shortage of pleasant things – here I immediately think of the Archaeological Museum in Biskupin. Greetings to the villagers and other – it would take a long time to list – cool people 🙂

During the time spent in Biskupin, several selvedges were created (under the watchful eye of trained Rosołek):

Although that's not all. But I don't mean to catch up in one post. Besides, you also have to take care of your fitness when writing - if I write too much, my fingers will get sore... And I'd better finish, because I'm starting to write nonsense 😉

Finally, a photo of Janek, the first fan of my weaving passion:

One of thick natural linen, which I trimmed with Opole lace. The other…

  • Dyed purse

The starting material for the dyeing game was a piece of white linen cloth and a linen thread called twine. I measured a circle with a plate, cut it out, hemmed it and rubbed it wet with alum. I bought alum a long time ago in a chemist's in the form of deodorant. I think asking here what I dyed it with misses the point, since the photo clearly suggests that...

  • Lately…

I had another break 🙂 A very fruitful one 😉 I have Rękawka, a few private matters, and recently a May Day holiday in Biskupin. This is what my textile arrangement looked like: The photo was taken by Kasia, and her company made my time more pleasant – greetings 🙂 The photo also shows bagpipes and fiddles – of course they are not mine. Kasia plays old…
