New links to the shelter
Our shelter looked impressive last year… especially because we pitched a tent under it. That’s the whim of people with imagination 😉 But more importantly, the shelter was attached to the ground with self-made guy ropes. These guy ropes are yet another proof that I have a fondness for wide-ranging colors, i.e. motley. I made the ropes from tapestry wool with my hands and whatever I had lying around.
Today I made a few more lines to make sure that the shelter won't fly away as it happened during the Poznań free (z)sniping. (z) because someone stole my beloved dress made of hand-woven wool with a selvedge, which I spent many hours toiling on boards. Thanks to this selvedge, I have become so discouraged with boards that I only weave on the bardka.
But to the point. Links look like this in tamed form:
There are of course safety flags on each rope. Those interested can still stumble over the guy lines and fall picturesquely, but I will no longer accept excuses that the lines (of course, colorful ones) are not visible 😀 Today in Grzybów there will be a ceremonial first full use of the lines on our Żurek shelter. See you 🙂
