A portion of May Bardka borders

Today the weather gave me a chance. It's raining, so I'm sitting at home and I can write something. Photographing the selvedges required the use of additional lighting, but that's not a problem.

A lot of nice things have been happening lately. There was a lot of work, walks in the Bydgoszcz Forest in May. The inkle loom was created with the joint efforts of the family. It is big and heavy, because it is not a table version, but a free-standing one. Most importantly, I will no longer be dragging the warp around the whole cottage. Also, transferring the work to the garden will not be a problem - I will not have to tie myself anywhere, and if anything, it will be easy to move.

There were also two less pleasant cases. On a major holiday, the cat had a collision with something hard and now Janek is "without a tooth in the front". The treatment in Bydgoszcz went well, so he's fine now. The second problem is with the car - but it's a proper French junk, so it's broken, but it drives 😉

Recently I received some nice news, but its content is supposedly still a secret, so I keep quiet. And I am happy in a relatively discreet way.

And now I present the selvedges.

Green-cherry-yellow selvage, 5.5 m long and 2.4 cm wide.

Olive-blue selvedge, 4.7 m long and 2.3 cm wide.

Olive-yellow selvage, 9.7 m long and 2.5 cm wide.

The last one is woven from cotton yarn. I planned to make a harness and a leash for Janek from it. It is 5.4 m long and 1.2 cm wide.

86.2 m of selvedge
6.21 driving time
61 km distance
