Colorful... very colorful

I'm not happy with the photo, because the camera, as usual, had its own opinion about the colors. I struggled a bit, then wondered if there was any point in publishing any of the photos at all, and now I've decided to show this:

I repeat, I am not a photographer 🙂

It can be assumed that this series of selvedges was created because of the itching of the visual organ. Nothing scratches the eyes like true, even bold colors.
Each selvedge is about 10 meters, because I liked the new technique of winding a long warp. The width is on average 2.5 cm.

After a break related to a trip to Beijing 😉 and smaller matters, I finished weaving on a wound warp. Today I took poor photos, but I and the camera are the best we can do – correcting the colors in Photoshop didn’t help either. Only the pattern is correct 🙂 Each of the selves is a bit over 4 cm wide. The lengths are as follows: 2.25 m, 1.6…

The material crisis has passed with the arrival of a full bundle of yarn. The colors will now be quite natural, and the selvedges will be difficult, because the wool is hard and rough. If so, I will make it more difficult and make the selvedges very patterned. I only wonder what my hands will look like after working through the whole bundle – maybe I will find a way to make the most effective peeling in the world. Each…

Where did I end up…? A pistachio-cherry creation. However, I’ve been weaving a bit lately and have created a few selvedges, none of which have yet had a separate blog premiere (at most, they’ve been in a spoiler). Now, they’ll all be presented at once 🙂 All the selvedges are made of pure tapestry wool. So they’re quite thick and stiff. As usual…

Today the weather gave me a chance. It's raining, so I'm sitting at home and I can write something. Photographing the selvedges required the use of additional lighting, but that's not a problem. A lot of nice things have been happening lately. There was a lot of work, walks in the Bydgoszcz Forest in May. The inkle loom was created with the joint efforts of the family. It's big and heavy, because it's not a table version, but a slow...

Today, I am happy and proud to present new technically and visually advanced selvedges 🙂 I have long wondered whether the warp-pulling method could be used to obtain more colorful selvedges. Up until now, I have been weaving two-color patterns. Of course, I am not mentioning the fact that the warp can be divided lengthwise into stripes of different colors. I made a few drawings then and came to the unfortunate conclusion that…
