Warm browns

I present a variation on the find from Ostrówek in Opole. I chose a harmonious color scheme of warm browns. I modified the pattern, leaving the grosgrain weave in the middle. The rows are tightly compressed, so the selvedge is quite stiff and solid, and it came out wider than I expected for the number of threads in the warp (3.4 cm). I managed to break the length record and came out 8.6 m….

Alternative

As I wrote, that's what I did. The red (i.e. cherry) selvedge with a gold (i.e. yellow) pattern is ready. It's supposedly made of a more plastic yarn (75% wool from acrylic sheep), but it turned out to be more atmospheric - it's a bit rough to the touch... or maybe fuzzy. After a break related to a trip to Beijing 😉 and smaller matters, I finished weaving on a wound warp.
