Sample stock

The selvedge from the previous post became the upper edge selvedge for the apron made on a vertical loom. I wove an additional thread through it, which is the warp.
While it was being created it looked like this:


The looms have their permanent place by the chimney, although they often leave it to travel with me (in time and space). They are already equipped with all the elements necessary for weaving and now they need to get the appropriate number of meter-hours of practice. I used a tong to create the pattern, because the weft does not fall off and it is easy to weave through the individual warp threads.
The apron is quite loosely woven, because it is just a practice session to gain skill.
