I was wondering a bit what to write in the first "Sierakowski" post. The impressions after arrival have passed, so I will refrain from describing them to myself... and to those who have already heard 😉

The most important thing for me is weaving, so I'm showing off my new device.
I can't afford to hang the warp from window to window like I did in Krakow, so I wind it on a portable stand. The idea is mine and it is not a reconstruction. My dad did the work – thanks again 🙂


For me, this stand is truly a technical revolution. I have freed myself from tying to the selvedge and I don't have to look for a place to attach the other end of the warp.
