Wide patterned belt – reddish-brown Old Brest

Description

Wide selvedge with an early medieval pattern based on a find from Stari Brest. The ends are secured in the form of fringes made of unwoven threads.

I recommend tying it around your waist or bag strap. It is suitable for any decorative and impressive applications.

I used a soft, smooth merino wool yarn of medium thickness, which makes the selvedge quite heavy and thick, and pleasant to the touch.

If necessary, I recommend gentle hand washing at low temperature. The material used is superwash wool, but washing too hard can damage the pattern threads and the edges of the selvedge.
