Very wide patterned belt – Latvian 2

Description

Very wide selvedge with an ethnographic pattern from Latvia from Krustpilis (early 19th century). The ends are secured in the form of fringes made of unwoven threads.

I recommend tying it around your waist or bag strap. It is suitable for any decorative and impressive applications.

I used a light, pleasant to the touch, although slightly rough wool yarn of medium thickness.

If absolutely necessary, I recommend gentle hand washing at low temperature.
